Yes, also problems with sidedrop WUs here. Computation Error was the result for all of them. On the other hand, axi_linear WUs are going along very well.

          Ditto...

All my sidedrop I have so far are stalling at various Percentages (often 10%)

Taken to aborting them now after 1 hour if they keep being stuck. Thinking of just aborting them all.

I'm also having the same problems with axi_linear_inetface1 workunits.

After having too many of these sidedrop stall, I've aborted any and all that come to me.

I've just had this "sidedrop" WU fail in the same manner.

This one is still running, though seems to have stalled at 10% for the last 25 mins or so. I'll let it run to the bitter end, but I guess it's also going to fail as the other machines crunching it have also reported "Compute Error"s.

The wierd thing is, I could've sworn I saw 5 of these "sidedrop" WU's in my task list earlier this evening, but I can only find two of the buggers on my results page (the two mentioned above)!?

I had something like 20 sidedrop's WU and after the first six had stalled at 10% I just aborted them all, sorry.

Other WUs are going just fine. No problem at all.

My experience (3 sidedrop wu's) says 2 hours needed to finish. No errors occured

Hi, I've just had the same problem as "Gamma^Ray" with this WU.

When I checked it, it had been running for approx. 1hr28min and the time to completion was showing as 1hr32min - and rising (the progress indicator had stalled, but I can't remember what it was showing). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to keep an eye on how long it actually ran for, but at some point it failed with a "Maximum CPU time exceeded" error.

The really odd thing is, that unlike the other two hosts who have already reported the same error at this time, my host has claimed zero credit!?

BTW A similar thing happened with this WU. Half of us claimed zero credit and the other hosts claimed around 17 credits....those who did claim credit appear to be running BOINC "v5.4.x", whereas those of us who didn't are running BOINC "v5.7.x" or newer (though this doesn't appear to be the case with the WU I mentioned at the top of this post [#958005]).

Just noticed that I've had another "bad" WU: #965133

All of us who have processed it so far seem to be getting a "Compute Error" of one sort or another.

BTW Should we be posting these problems in this thread, or would it be more helpful for us to post in one of the "sticky" threads at the top?
